Reunion COVID-19 Update

TRAVEL INFORMATION: COVID-19

Below is updated travel information from Reunion Resort.

In a continued effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued an executive order for a Friday, March 27 prohibiting short-term vacation rentals for the next two weeks. He updated order was on April 1st, 2020 to have the entire state of Flordia stay home until further notice, potentially until May.

Order 20-87 states that vacation rental properties are prohibited from making new reservations or bookings and shall not accept new guests for check-in for the next two weeks.  In compliance with this order, Reunion Resort will not be accepting any new reservations or arrivals through April 10, 2020 (Again this information could change.)  Any guests currently on the property may keep their existing reservations.

Here is what the Resort is doing in regards to the new effect in place.

The clubhouse, currently open dining establishments, tennis and golf courses will continue to operate for current guests and owners.

At Reunion Resort & Golf Club, the health and comfort of our guests is of utmost importance and we are taking the recommended precautions to protect our resort guests, Club members, and team members.

We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and will continue to implement additional measures as provided by trusted sources such as the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization.

We are open and welcoming arrivals but have increased efforts to mitigate exposure and reduce risk.

COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS:

  • Specific hotel/retreat center cleaning processes using an EPA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in all our public areas, lavatories, restaurants and guestrooms
  • Increased routine cleaning and disinfecting of commonly-touched spaces and surfaces, including restrooms, handrails, doors, touch screens, and elevator buttons
  • Added sanitizer stations throughout public areas and messaging has been placed in public restrooms to educate guests and team members on proper hand cleaning procedures

In an abundance of caution and in the best interests of our guests, Club members and team members, we have made the following adjustments to our operations.
