Reunion Club Announces Golf Policy Changes and Platinum Membership Update for 2026

Reunion Club has announced several golf policy updates that will take effect on July 1, 2026, following continued growth in membership participation and increased demand for tee times throughout the Resort.

According to Club leadership, the changes are intended to improve tee sheet efficiency, preserve long-term access to golf, and provide more equitable availability for members during peak seasons.

Key Golf Policy Changes Taking Effect July 1, 2026

Beginning July 1, members will see several updates to tee time reservations and golf operations, including adjusted booking windows, a longer cancellation period, and new limits intended to improve tee sheet availability.

Updated Advance Booking Windows

Platinum members will continue to have extended booking privileges, although reservation windows will vary depending on the season and course.

Gold members will be able to reserve tee times up to 10 days in advance on all courses.

New Seven-Day Cancellation Window

The cancellation window for tee times will change to seven days in advance in order to avoid applicable fees.

Members will be encouraged to provide all player names when making a reservation, and all player names must be confirmed no later than seven days prior to the tee time. Player substitutions will still be permitted; however, reductions in the number of reserved player positions within seven days may result in the reserving member being financially responsible for the unused position.

One Active Tee Time Reservation Per Day

The primary member and their spouse will each be permitted to hold one active tee time reservation per day, with a maximum of four golfers per reservation.

This update is intended to improve overall tee sheet availability and reduce duplicate reservations during peak periods.

Additional Tee Times for 36 Holes

Members who wish to play 36 holes in one day may still be accommodated when possible, based on pace of play and tee sheet availability.

Large Group Tee Time Blocks

Advance tee time blocks for larger member groups will no longer be guaranteed. Reunion Club stated that it will continue supporting organized member play opportunities through leagues, events, and coordinated programming whenever possible.

New Couples League Coming in October

Reunion Club also announced the addition of a new Couples League on Sunday mornings beginning in October 2026.

This new program will join the existing Men’s League on Tuesday mornings and Ladies League on Monday mornings during the season.

Platinum Membership Closed to Future Enrollments

One of the most notable updates is that Platinum membership will be closed to future enrollments.

Current Platinum members will retain their existing membership status. Existing members who wish to upgrade to Platinum, along with future members, will be placed on a waitlist pending availability.

However, purchasers acquiring a property with an active Platinum membership at the time of sale may remain eligible to elect the Platinum membership category, subject to Reunion Club’s membership approval requirements.

What This Means for Reunion Property Owners and Buyers

These updates reflect the continued demand for golf access within Reunion Resort and the importance of long-term planning around Club membership, tee time availability, and the overall member experience.

For prospective buyers, understanding whether a property has an active membership may become an increasingly important part of the home search process, especially for those who are interested in golf access at Reunion.

Membership availability, transferability, fees, and approval requirements are subject to Reunion Club policies and should always be confirmed directly with the Club.

Reunion Realty LLC will continue to share important Resort and community updates as they become available.
